Teddy Hood

Teddy Hood (Sizes 6 months – 6 years) — € 6 (VAT exclusive)

Teddy is a hood with bear ears, worked in bulky weight yarn. Children loves the ears and moms love the cute look.

This hood is worked in a seamless construction and is shaped by increases and decreases. It can be worn either open or closed by a button. The construction is similar to that of my other design Bilby.

Measurements are given in both centimeters and inches.

Yardage: 60 (70, 75, 90, 105) m / 65 (75, 80, 100, 115) yds, including 10% allowance

NEEDLES

8 mm / US 11 circular needle of length 60 cm / 24″; adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

8 mm / US 11 needles in your preferred style for small circumference knitting in the round, for the ears

NOTIONS

1 button about 5cm / 2″ diameter; scrap of fingering or DK weight yarn for sewing button; stitch markers; waste yarn; yarn needle

GAUGE

11 sts and 16 rows = 10 cm / 4″ in Stockinette stitch, blocked.

REQUIRED SKILLS

Decreases, increases, knitting in the round, picking up stitches
