By Airmail is a design inspired by my childhood memory of the edging of airmail envelopes. The colors are recreated in softer pink and blue. A rectangular wrap that can be used as a stole or scarf, it is worked on the bias in easy garter stitch.

NEEDLES
4 mm / US 6 circular needle of length 60 cm / 24″ or longer; adjust needle size if necessary to obtain gauge.

19.5 sts and 35 rows = 10 cm / 4″ in garter stitch, blocked without stretching
16 sts and 39 rows = 10 cm / 4″ in garter stitch, aggressively blocked as in the sample.
Gauge is not critical but affects the finished measurement and yardage.
